What Selena is

An AI phone assistant that answers your calls.

Selena is an AI-powered phone assistant for your business or personal line. When someone calls your Selena number, she answers instantly, has a natural spoken conversation with the caller, finds out what they need, and then texts you a clear summary of who called and why — so you never have to listen to voicemail or play phone tag again.

If a missed call can mean a missed customer, compare Selena with traditional voicemail, see how an AI receptionist handles the call, or review answering-service options for a small business.

With your permission, Selena can also connect to your Google Calendar. When a caller wants to meet, Selena checks your real availability and books the meeting on your calendar live, during the call. Selena uses your Google Calendar data only to provide this scheduling feature — to read your free/busy times and to create the events you ask for. Your Google Calendar data is never sold, never shared for advertising, and never used to train AI models. Connecting your calendar is optional, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Selena is built on Twilio for telephony and on OpenAI and Anthropic for the conversation and summaries. To understand exactly what data we collect, how we use it, and how Google user data is handled, please read our Privacy Policy.

Questions, answered

What to know before Selena picks up.

How do I send calls from my existing number to Selena?

Use your Selena number directly, or forward your existing carrier line to it. The app gives you a carrier-specific dialing code to turn forwarding on, and a code to turn it off again.

What happens after Selena answers a call?

Selena has a spoken conversation, finds out what the caller needs, and texts you a summary when the call ends. Your dashboard also keeps the call transcript and summary for review.

What if Selena cannot help the caller?

If Selena cannot complete the caller's request, she takes the message and sends you the call summary so you can follow up.

What Google Calendar access does Selena need?

Connecting Google is optional. For Calendar, Selena reads your primary calendar's free/busy times and event details, and creates events when you agree to a meeting. You can disconnect Google at any time.

How does Selena handle my call and calendar data?

Selena stores call transcripts and summaries with your account and may store recordings when recording is enabled. We do not sell your personal information; we share data only with Twilio, OpenAI, and Anthropic as required to operate the service.

Can I cancel Selena at any time?

Yes. There are no contracts or lock-in. You can cancel a paid plan from your dashboard at any time, and you can delete your account from the dashboard. Deleting the account permanently removes its associated call data.
