Welcome to Selena. By creating an account and using our service, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
Selena provides an AI-powered phone assistant that answers calls, takes messages, and sends you SMS summaries on your behalf. The service is operated by Nathan McNiel ("we", "us", "our").
You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to use this service. By signing up, you confirm you meet these requirements.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of using the service. You may opt out at any time without losing access to your account.
You agree not to use Selena to:
Selena may record, transcribe, and summarize calls handled by your assigned phone number. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with call-recording laws in your jurisdiction. In many states, you must inform callers that the call may be recorded. Selena's greeting identifies itself as an AI assistant, which serves as notice to callers.
Selena relies on third-party providers including Twilio (telephony), OpenAI (voice AI), and Anthropic (summaries). Your use of Selena is also subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for their service availability or changes to their terms.
We aim to keep Selena available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
Selena is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed calls or inaccurate transcriptions.
You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
